My new old pantry!  This is our old pantry, which used to be across from the sink in our kitchen.  We moved the fridge where the pantry used to sit (see here for pics), and we've been living with this giant cabinet in our dining room for months.  We paid a professional contractor to retro-fit the cabinet in the space under the stairs.  It still needs to be painted (white), but it looks so wonderful!

Strolling through a bamboo garden was a peaceful way to get rid of some of the stress of this past week.

Here's a picture I took on the Photowalk at the library tonight.  This was my first program and we had a GREAT turnout including folks ages 5 to 85!  The weather looked threatening all day and then when we headed outside for the walk, the sun took a bow to create the most wonderful sunset!

zucchini crazy

I went zucchini crazy last night!  I made a chocolate zucchini cake (inspired by this recipe) and zucchini chips with the leftover zucchini (inspired by this recipe).  Yum yum!

AHS 60th Reunion

Congrats to AHS Class of 1952 on their 60th reunion!  Many thanks for allowing me to be a part of it, and for the yummy grub.  :)
